To better serve you, RB Computing Inc. would like to give you all the information you need on the Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) fee,
effective April 1, 2009.

On April 1, 2009, Ontario will launch an electronics recycling program as an initiative to help divert end-of-life electronics from landfills. Under this program, an Electrical and Electronics Equipment fee will be charged on designated electronic goods shipped or sold into the province.
The Phase I plan addresses desktop and portable computers, computer peripherals, monitors, printers, fax machines and televisions, and will have a different fee structure than existing programs. A plan for Phase II materials such as phones, cameras and audiovisual equipment will follow in 2010.
