This USB-C network adapter instantly connects your MacBook, tablet or Windows laptop to a wired network through a USB-C or Thunderbolt port. No internal Ethernet card is required. Ideal for settings in which Wi-Fi is unavailable, weak or spotty, this USB 3.2 Gen 1 adapter lets you enjoy Ethernet speeds up to 2.5 Gbps (when connected to Cat8 cabling) for large file downloads, video conferences, online gaming and high-definition live streaming without buffering. It’s also backward compatible with 10/100/1000 Mbps networks to ensure compatibility with all your devices.
Easy Installation Gets You Online Almost Immediately
This bus-powered network adapter requires no external power source. Just connect the built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C plug to your computer, and use a Cat5e/6/6a/8 cable (sold separately) to connect the RJ45 end to a network (a quick driver installation may be required). LEDs indicate when you’re connected to a network and when data is being transferred. The compact unit fits easily into a pocket, purse, backpack or laptop bag for instant file transfers where needed. |
