HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN provides a solid foundation for Zero Trust and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) frameworks to tackle the networking and security challenges of hybrid working and cloud computing. The solution tightly integrates with HPE Aruba Networking SSE to form a single-vendor SASE platform. Leveraging a built-in next-generation firewall with features such as IDS/IPS, advanced Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) protection and role-based segmentation, HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN enables organizations to seamlessly consolidate their branch equipment by replacing branch firewalls and routers. It allows them to reduce the cost and complexity of building a WAN while reducing MPLS dependency. This is achieved by leveraging broadband internet and cellular links to connect users to applications with advanced features such as path optimization, WAN optimization and multi-cloud networking.

HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN augmented with SWG helps organizations protect all users and things from web-based threats eliminating the need to install an SSE agent on each device.
Adaptive DDoS is an optional feature of HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN to protect branch locations against DDoS attacks by automatically adjusting DoS thresholds using machine learning. |
